These Terms of Service govern your use of Sharpalee's website, mobile applications, and delivery services. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Sharpalee, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Our Services
Sharpalee provides on-demand grocery and retail delivery services within our supported delivery areas. Product availability, pricing, delivery times, and service coverage may change without prior notice.
3. User Accounts
- Provide accurate personal information.
- Keep your account credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
4. Orders
- Orders are subject to product availability.
- Prices may change before checkout.
- We may substitute unavailable items only where you have given permission.
- Sharpalee reserves the right to cancel orders affected by fraud, pricing errors, or operational issues.
5. Delivery
- Please provide an accurate delivery address and reachable phone number.
- Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
- Unexpected traffic, weather, or operational issues may delay delivery.
- Someone authorized should be available to receive the order.
6. Order Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers are required to inspect their order before the delivery rider leaves the delivery location.
- Verify that all ordered items have been received.
- Check quantities and product condition.
- Report any missing, damaged, or incorrect items immediately to the rider or through the Sharpalee app.
- Once the rider has departed, the order will be considered accepted unless a concealed defect or issue that could not reasonably have been identified at delivery is later confirmed by Sharpalee.
This inspection process helps ensure prompt resolution of delivery issues and reduces disputes.
7. Payments
- All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN).
- Payments may be made using supported payment methods.
- Payment authorization is required before order processing unless Cash on Delivery is offered.
- Applicable taxes and delivery fees are displayed during checkout.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
- Orders may be cancelled before preparation begins.
- Prepared or dispatched orders may not be eligible for cancellation.
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method or wallet, where applicable.
- Refund processing times depend on your payment provider.
9. Promotions
- Promotional offers may have expiration dates.
- Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Sharpalee may cancel promotions in cases of abuse or fraud.
- Only one promotion may apply unless otherwise stated.
10. Prohibited Activities
- Providing false delivery information.
- Attempting payment fraud.
- Abusing riders or support staff.
- Creating multiple accounts to abuse promotions.
- Attempting to interfere with the platform or its security.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sharpalee shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Nigeria, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
